McAllen’s Children’s Clinic Specialists and our other clinics are composed of a dynamic
group of physicians servicing the Rio Grande Valley area. With three clinics in Weslaco and two more clinics dedicated to pediatric care in Mercedes & McAllen, we offer convenient healthcare to meet the needs of the community we serve.

Dr. Hildegardo Costa

   Dr. Hildegardo Costa was born in London, UK and raised in Panama and Mexico.  He received his medical degree from the University of Panama School of Medicine.  He continued his training after he was accepted in the Pediatric Residency Program at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in New York.

Dr. Yudi Luna MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

  Yudi Luna is a Board Certified family nurse practitioner. Mrs. Luna is a native of the Rio Grande Valley. She graduated from Mission High School and went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing at Walden University.

Juan Grimaldo, FNP-C

Native from the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, Mr. Juan Grimaldo grew up in Hidalgo county since childhood. Graduated from Hidalgo High School, he went on to pursue Nursing at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, formerly UT PANAM, where he attained an Associates Degree in Nursing. Later, he went on to complete his Bachelors Degree in Nursing at the University of Texas Arlington. After 15 years of nursing practice, Mr. Grimaldo attained his Masters with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Frontier Nursing University. He brings to Mcallen Childrens Clinic experience having worked in Pediatrics and family practice since 2018.

We are excited to announce that we are now part of a new organization called Kaizen Clinical Partners.

RGV Adult & Internal Medicine Specialists, PA has joined forces with Donna Medical Clinic, PA and Pedro J. Peñalo, MD, PA in order to serve our community in the Rio Grande Valley through a stronger work force, better resources for our patients, and shared values. Together, we will create a sustainable healthy society by improving well-being in our communities. We will become better every year at delivering equitable, excellent, and efficient primary and preventive care to all we serve.
